Multi Flower Arusha Tanzania.
We help this company by visiting regularly. The company produces a large amount of plant cuttings from, inter alia, Kanlanchoe, Chrysanthemum and Geranium. These crops are, as far as possible, cultivated using organic pest control. In principle, only organic pest control is used and no chemical products are used against pests.
Besides helping when it comes to the deployment of organic pest control, we also help cultivate a few local pest controls. This is still in the preliminary stages but it has achieved a lot already. There are further investments planned for the future, so that all necessary pest control can be cultivated within their own walls.
Vasso agroventures Moshi Tanzania
This company propagates all kinds of succulent plants. In addition, there is also a large variety of Geraniums and Spathiphyllum. The climate is very mild because the company is located at the foot of Kilimanjaro which is great for the crops. In the surrounding area, nature is abundant which is why so many diverse pests can get into the crops. The crops are well-kept thanks to the clever system used to deploy organic pest control and a substantial amount of organic cuttings are sent to the Netherlands and other countries on a daily basis. We help the company do this and we brainstorm together for developments for the future.
Lankhaar farms in Bleiswijk
Lankhaar farm gets their cuttings produced in the Tanzanian Arusha. Organic pest control is very important to Lankhaar, but what’s most important is that a healthy and beautiful cutting arrives in The Netherlands. We help Lankhaar to achieve this goal by making sure that the local farmers protect the stock nurseries using organic pest control. We are always focused on possible hazards and we address this by deploying pest control where possible. Healthy and beautiful cuttings are the goal with biology as a means to achieving this.
Aphrodite farm in Amstelveen
We kept ourselves busy with pot worm control in the Phaleanopsis with the help of soil-dwelling predatory mites. They found out that with the deployment of a minimum amount of predatory mites in combination with nutrition they could achieve great results; much better than expected. In this case, thinking outside of the box helped us achieve more than we had done up till now and the costs are quickly recovered.
