Assistance on the African continent

We have also been assisting companies in Africa for the past few years. This often involves arranging local insect or mite cultures to set up biological control systems. We can help you with setting up such production cultures under a number of strict conditions. In doing so, we guide you in the choice of accommodation, finding the right breeding products and eventually setting up the different cultures.

We start with an introductory period in which the case is prepared and set up, with a period of control and adjustment. If everything runs smoothly, regular checks will suffice from this point on, for example every quarter or later once every six months. It is very important that the cultures are checked on a regular basis for external pollution and the authenticity of the species. It is also possible to regularly send samples to the Netherlands for examination here.

Another possibility is to receive support with controlling pests in your crop. We will then advise you on the steps to be taken and you can carry them out with the help of local suppliers. Due to the local circumstances, a pest may behave slightly differently in Africa than in the Netherlands and that also applies to the pesticides. Knowledge of this is necessary in order to arrive at a good control strategy.
